Dear Paradise Canyon Elementary School Community,

 

I am privileged to welcome you to Paradise Canyon Elementary School (PCY), a vibrant and thriving learning community nestled in the picturesque northeastern foothills of La Cañada Flintridge. Since our founding in 1949, PCY has been where exceptional academics meet in a nurturing, family-oriented environment. Serving over 700 students from Transitional Kindergarten through 6th grade, our school is steeped in a tradition of excellence and a steadfast commitment to fostering every child's intellectual, social, ethical, emotional, and physical development.

 

At PCY, we uphold high achievement standards while providing personalized support to meet the unique needs of each student. Our dedication to excellence has been recognized repeatedly, with PCY earning the distinction of California Distinguished School in 1998, 2004, 2008, 2014, and 2023, as well as National Blue Ribbon School honors in 2021.

 

The extraordinary educational experiences we offer are made possible through the generous support of the La Cañada Flintridge Educational Foundation. This partnership enables us to provide smaller class sizes, a robust arts program, daily physical education, and weekly access to the Computer Lab. Coupled with our outstanding faculty and beautiful campus, these resources create an engaging and inspiring environment where every child can flourish.
