Paula Ghermezian is the 6th grade Language Arts/History teacher at Paradise Canyon Elementary School. This is Paula's second year at PCY, but her eleventh year as a teacher. She has previously taught at a private school in La Canada, and at a public charter school in Highland Park. She can't wait for the school year to begin, and all the culminating, team-building, and memorable learning activities the students will have this year.

 

Paula Ghermezian has a Bachelor's Degree in Liberal Studies and a minor in mathematics from Cal State University, Northridge. Also, she has a master's degree in Education from Pepperdine University. Paula Ghermezian loves to read. She is in a book club with some of her college friends. When people ask Paula what brings her joy in the teaching profession, she responds by saying, she loves to instill in her students a love of reading. Paula Ghermezian, her husband, and two boys live in La Crescenta. She enjoys doing crafts with her boys during her spare time.
